  1. When in doubt, there is no doubt.
  2. There is one way you can always test a person for honesty and it is very simple and quick.  Real easy.  Believe nothing that you hear, but believe only what you see. Words can lie, actions cannot. If someone tells you that they care about you, you should be able to tell by their actions. And I mean their real actions. If I care about someone, they don’t have to tell me that they are hungry, broke, without shelter or sick.  I know these things already because I care. They do not have to ask me to feed them, loan or give them money, provide shelter or provide medicine.  I will have done these things already without them saying a word.
  3. If all you live for is money, you don’t have very much of a life.
  4. If you are riding with someone who really pisses you off, keep your mouth shut until you get home.
  5. Always carry enough money with you to pay for transportation home.
  6. Always be sure someone knows where you are when you leave home, even if you only post a note on your refrigerator door saying who you are with and where you are going.
  7. Follow your first mind always, its generally going to be telling you the truth
  8. Living might be more complicated than dying to me. The belief of it. I don’t know if it’s true. Because living takes a lot of courage. Without the courage, you can’t handle living. Living is a journey; living is a struggle. People have everything and they still can’t do it, they struggle. We take ourselves too seriously. We think we’re somebody.’ – Mike Tyson
